Umbraco Awards 2014

As the dust settles on another Codegarden we wanted to take a minute to recognize the winners of the annual Umbraco Awards for 2014. We received many incredible entries and selecting the winners was very difficult among so many excellent choices. We solicited votes from members of the Umbraco HQ and a group of third party reviewers. With the votes tallied the winners were in. Without further ado, here they are!

Best Technical

For the Best Technical category, the two runners-up were by and by

The winner for the Best Technical category was by We liked this site’s use of Elastic Search and the way it demonstrates how Umbraco can nicely co-exist with other components of a larger and more complex system.


Best Integration

For the Best Integration category the two runners-up were by and by

The winner for the Best Integration was by We liked this site’s use of social media and the way that every site visitor will have a different experience as the site’s content is very dynamic.


Best Design

For the Best Design category the two runners-up were by and by .

The winner for the Best Design category was by In addition to being a beautiful site we liked how this site focused on the user experience and was an excellent combination of great design and great function in that it is a working ecommerce site as well.



We were blown away by the quality of all the entries to the Umbraco Awards and are proud of the amazing work being done in the Umbraco community. Congratulations to all the winners! We can’t wait to see the entries for next year’s awards.
