What does the programme entail actually?
Umbraco Education Programme gives you the opportunity for the Umbraco Fundamentals training course to be taught by a local Umbraco partner agency at your institution - or in an online format. It’s free. It’s only a 1-2 days course (depends on what you agree on with the agency). And as an educational institution, you barely have to lift a finger.

Umbraco is the fastest growing open source .NET CMS in the world. Many agencies are using Umbraco, as it allows developers to unfold their talent to create clever, impressive and editor friendly web solutions for their clients.
The demand for Umbraco sites is growing worldwide, and Umbraco Certified developers are in high demand. There has therefore never been a better time to learn the basics of the Umbraco CMS.
Better job opportunities for your students
By taking part in the Umbraco Education Programme, you open up a world of opportunity for your students. They will get hands-on skills that they are able to use in future jobs, internships or student jobs.

Official Umbraco certification free of charge
Normally, an Umbraco Fundamentals course costs €1200 per attendee. By teaming up with a local Umbraco Partner, all your students will get the course completely free of charge.
This means that once they have completed the course and passed the test, they’ll be able to call themselves an Umbraco Certified Professional without them or you having to spend a penny.
Extra skills without extra hassle
It’s all taken care of for you. All you have to do is make sure the students are there, have their laptops ready and have a stable internet connection.
Your local Umbraco Partner will then take it from there, giving them access to the course material, demoing features, teaching them Umbraco best practises, answer questions and finally, give them access to the Fundamentals test.
