Working with Umbraco since version 4
Back in 2005 there were not that many .NET based CMSs. And because of the diversity of client projects we were working on, we needed a truly robust platform.
So we decided to go with Umbraco, which at that time was version 4. It is suitable for almost every solution, whether it is a web app, solution with an API extension, an e-commerce platform or a corporate website.
What’s also appealing to us is sharing Umbraco knowledge with other partners. We are very proud to share our trust in Umbraco.
And even without the Gold Partner status, our employees always were big fans of Umbraco, we've also attended several Codegardens.

Among other reasons for why we went with Umbraco CMS is that it is open source, free and secure. It’s a pleasure to work with for developers, as Umbraco is highly flexible and easily customizable, but editors also love the clear layout of the CMS and intuitive user interface.
Last, but not least, the Umbraco community is excellent, you can always count on help from fellow Umbracians, whose daily contributions help make Umbraco core even better.
Why it made sense to become a Gold Partner
Because of the scale of our company and many clients, we needed a broad range support for platforms we use. Which is why we decided to pursue the Umbraco Gold Partnership last year, and took the official step this year. Well, actually, 2 steps. How come?
Intracto is now an Umbraco Gold Partner in the Netherlands, but LUON, which is part of the Intracto Group, is an Umbraco Gold Partner in Belgium. We’re Umbraco-golden twice 😉
