Umbraco Award winners 2024

It’s Jun 12, 2024, a crisp summer evening during Codegarden, the biggest Umbraco conference of the year, and all the 2024 Umbrao Award winners have just received their awards and standing ovations on stage during the festive Umbraco Award show 🎉

With close to 100 submissions from 66 different web agencies worldwide, the nominees and the winners of this year's Umbraco Awards are indeed the best of the best! We want to say a big thanks to everyone who submitted their projects this year - the jury really had their work cut out!

This year, we have awarded 8 Umbraco Award winners and added two very popular Umbraco packages to the Umbraco Package Hall of Fame.

Emergent Software for the Burford Capital Website Rebuild.

“Emergent has created an inspiring custom view solution with thumbnails to display the different elements available for editors within their block grid. Emergent's use of the language variant to determine regions is a refreshing use of built-in functionality.”

Best Designed Site

Screenmedia for weaving Thredd’s digital identity.

“The site clearly explains the proposition, the UX is on point and the brand detail across the site and pages give it that extra magic that you don't often see in the financial sector space.”

The design is alive without being noisy, the conversion rates speak for themselves and the organization of a LOT of content makes sense and is easy to navigate. This is a site I just want to continue exploring.”

Umbraco Package Award 2024

What the jury said:

“The detail in this package is fantastic, highlighting the areas of the page(s) that don't meet the specification with links to fix it. Not only does it help with development but this also puts accessibility in view of the content editors. This is going on my list of "must-haves" for future projects.”

Entering the Hall of Fame is reserved for Umbraco packages that are seen as a vital asset to the Umbraco package ecosystem, reflecting a consistent dedication to maintaining a high-quality package that is used and loved by many.

What the jury said:

“uMarketingSuite has been awarded a spot in the Package Hall of Fame for its extensive and robust package that enhances Umbraco as a Digital Experience Platform, adding analytics, A/B testing, personalization, and profiling. uMarketingSolutions has been proactive in adapting their package to new features and products from Umbraco HQ (like adding headless support and a Commerce integration). Throughout the years, they have contributed to the development of Umbraco, as well as the maintenance and support of uMarketingSuite.”

“Widely adopted in many Umbraco projects, this package offers URL redirect management that goes beyond the functionality built into Umbraco itself. With its long-standing history of maintenance and updates (like adding support for importing redirects), it's an invaluable asset to most Umbraco projects and the Umbraco ecosystem.”

All Package Award nominees, the winner and Hall of Fame packages have a shiny new badge and are listed on the Umbraco Marketplace.

But what about the “Best Green Solution”? 

Unfortunately, we didn’t see the interest we had hoped for in the “Best Green Solution” this year - if you want to know more about this, we addressed this in the 2024 Nominees blog post.
