Step-by-step guide for using the Chat function

Look for the blue chat bubble in the bottom-right corner of the page.

Click the chat bubble to open a small chat window.

Note: You can expand the chat window, but only after you’ve started creating a support ticket.

When you click on “Send us a message”, you’ll be prompted to enter:

  • Your email address
  • A short message (e.g., “I need help choosing the right Umbraco product”)

After submitting your details, a chatbot will join the chat. Type your question to get started.

The chatbot may present you with options to help narrow down your issue.

If the chatbot can’t fully assist you, you’ll have the option to speak with a live support agent.

When you’re done, simply close the chat window.

-  Note: You can close the chatbox at any time, the chat will remember your credentials from the first time, and you’ll be able to see earlier tickets. Furthermore, an email response will be sent to you if you close down the browser.
