Umbraco Training helps you get the most out of Umbraco, from getting started to deepening your expertise. Courses are created and taught by Umbraco experts, so you learn best practices and skills you can use right away. All courses can be completed in a day, with identical learning objectives across formats, so you can choose what best fits your schedule and learning style.
On-demand training gives you full flexibility. Access courses on our learning platform and learn at your own pace with a mix of theory, hands-on exercises, trainer-led videos, and knowledge checks. Each course includes practical work in an Umbraco project plus all required code and files, so you can focus on learning by doing.
Team Training is ideal for upskilling multiple people at once. Choose your date and train up to 15 team members at a flat rate, online or on-site at your office. The course is delivered just for your team, with a trainer guiding you step by step through theory and hands-on exercises, plus time for questions and support along the way.

Professional exams include 20 questions, while Expert and Master exams include 60 questions. Exams are based only on the courses required for each certification level. All exams are timed (60 minutes) and include three attempts. If you don’t pass, you’ll need to retake the course or purchase re-exam access.
Our courses are designed and taught using Windows and Windows-based tools. While it’s possible to complete the exercises using other operating systems, instructions primarily assume a Windows setup. Some macOS guidance is provided, but non-Windows users should expect to adapt tools and workflows independently.
Certifications are valid for two years. To renew, you must pass a recertification exam before it expires. The exam focuses on the latest Umbraco version, so staying up to date is recommended. Passing extends your certification by two years from the exam date.

You have three attempts per exam. If you don’t pass, we recommend retaking the relevant courses to refresh your knowledge before trying again.
