We have now identified what we believe is the root cause of the ongoing Umbraco Cloud issue and have to call an extraordinary maintenance window in order to be able to continue our work on a solution. This might not be the only fix needed but it is a necessary step in order to make progress in solving the issue. This maintenance will take place on March 1st at 16:30 - 22:30 CET.

What does this mean to you and your customers' websites?

You will see a number of service interruptions (websites offline) during the maintenance window. Rest assured that we only do this when necessary.

Caught between a rock and a hard place

We are very aware that this is not optimal, however, continuing with current instabilities aren’t either and this is a necessary step in order to bring stability back to all Cloud sites within the shortest possible time frame.

Why this timing and notice

The maintenance window has been chosen in order to affect the least possible amount of our customers. With customers all around the world and with a maintenance duration for several hours, we know this might still affect you. We apologize for the inconvenience and the short notice but we see this maintenance highly necessary in order to stabilize the platform as soon as possible.

We are still on duty

Our support team can still be reached at contact@umbraco.com.
