Hi everyone, I’m Davis!
I just recently began working at Umbraco as a Cloud Consultant on the SUITS team.
My day-to-day responsibilities include communicating with some of our amazing partners to get them started on their cloud journeys.
I also help those who may not have heard about Umbraco yet get started.

How I got started with Umbraco
I first heard about Umbraco while looking for local internship opportunities, but that hasn’t stopped me from taking a deep dive into Umbraco culture! I’m currently a web development student so I’ve loved learning more about Umbraco Cloud and the Umbraco CMS myself while also helping some others get started on them.
Working at Umbraco has been great so far! Although I haven’t yet met anyone outside of the US team in person, that hasn’t stopped them from sending me plenty of well wishes. I’m so excited for Codegarden and to have the opportunity to go to Denmark and finally meet everyone!
All about me
I’m originally from Rocky Mount, a very small rural town in eastern North Carolina. There’s not too much to do where I’m from but I’ve been living in Charlotte for the last four years for school and it’s definitely become my new home.
Even though I’m currently working in our Charlotte office, I’m really looking forward to coming to Odense to meet everyone at HQ and attend Codegarden!
I’m currently finishing up my final year at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where I’m majoring in Computer Science.
Even though school and work keep me pretty busy, I still do make time to spend time with my friends….and take care of my shrimp.
I started a shrimp tank a few months ago after I moved into my new apartment and learned that I was not allowed to have any cats or dogs in the apartment. I was so disappointed but also determined to still get a pet, so I eventually settled on the idea of shrimp.
I’m really looking forward to meeting everyone at HQ exploring more of Umbraco!
