Meet Our New Interns! 👋

A warm welcome to our eight new interns who just joined us in Odense, Denmark! 🤩 They recently had their intro day and are so excited to get started! During the intro day, they got to know all about the history of Umbraco, our mission, vision and values, as well as mingle with each other at a cosy and relaxed environment. Let us tell you all about it:

We're very excited about this year's crop of autumn interns, who will be clocking in for the first time on August 3rd. But we already got to greet them a few days ago, as we hosted a truly fun introduction day for them at Umbraco HQ.

What exactly went down?

What had we planned to welcome our new talented interns?

It was 8:30 a.m. when our 8 new interns arrived at Umbraco HQ. We welcomed them with delicious breakfast and had a cosy ''mingle session''. It was just the right setting to get to know each other.

After the breakfast, our Chief Unicorn and founder of Umbraco Niels Hartvig introduced the interns to Umbraco as a company. This is not exactly your typical ''this is how we started and where we’re at now'' session.

Well, it is a bit of that of course.

But what it’s really about is the history of Umbraco presented in the most fun, honest and entertaining way ever. And, as you can imagine, plenty of laughs were heard.

The interns also got introduced to the Mission, Vision & Values of Umbraco by CEO Kim Sneum Madsen. They absolutely loved this session, as they got to know in-depth the fundamentals of how we work and why. They surely also had to take an epic picture with Kim to capture the moment 😉

Did you know that all new Umbraco employees join an onboarding program where they get to learn all about the company and have their own work buddy for the first 3 months? 🤩

During the intro day, the 8 soon-to-be Umbracians also got to meet their very own Umbraco buddies. They’re so excited to have a buddy to go to for any questions they may have during their internships.

We’re thrilled to have Ana, Daniella, Alexander, Frederik, Kenni, Mike, Muslim and Nikolaj on board ✨
