For how long have you been working with Umbraco?

Since 2015 so...for 5 years I would say! A from Umbraco 4.0 to Umbraco 8.

Favorite Umbraco moment?

To be a part of such a super active community where people are eager to help each other. Also the collection of websites I’ve developed with great functionality and the various Umbraco events we have conducted in the Southern part of India that reached a lot of companies

What in your Umbraco career are you most proud of?

When we were able to bring in 5 to 6 clients for developing their website, which was a very tough task and engaging at the same time. It turned out to be a beautiful and hassle-free development which created a long term relationship with them. We still maintain a professional relationship with existing clients that are constantly evolving with creative inputs from them and a steady output from us.

This is one of the best parts of working with Umbraco, the interaction and loyalty we form from the work we produce to keep me going!

What about Umbraco keeps you coming back for more?

The fully-featured environment of Umbraco which makes editing or storing data very easy right after the installation of Umbraco Cloud’s effective system. The functionality is certainly one of high standards with fast and refined services. The forever inviting community also plays a major role in bringing me back here.

What are you currently working on?

Apart from assisting and reviewing the new updates from the team, we are also working on adding Umbraco 8 features for our clients. Hopefully, I‘ll get to discuss and blog about it as well as the future projects we have planned.

What are your top 3 best tips for an Umbraco newbie?

Here are some of the suggestions that I can give to a Umbraco newbie:

  • The training courses which are fundamental for the Umbraco journey - they will provide you with all the necessary information and give you the final push to join the Umbraco path.
  • The very friendly Umbraco community which is available on the forum. Such active communities are rare, and you may find supportive acquaintances and helpful chats to cherish.
  • Attending and hosting multiple development events which will definitely help you in networking and building relationships.

Any aspirations for your future?

To bring more clients for the development and hosting of the community in different cities. And also to gain more recognition and clients from my own city.

What is on your desk at work?

I will always have my laptop, mouse, custom mouse pad, Bluetooth headset, two phones, a to-do list that tends to never end, a pen, my company coffee mug, and my business cards.

And yeah my stress ball too.

What is on top of your bucket list?

To take early retirement and go for a world tour.

Are you on Social Media?

Yes, and I would love to connect with all the amazing people of the Umbraco Community! Here's my LinkedIn profile.
