Hello everyone!
We’re Element78 😊 We started our journey in 2004 and have since grown into a full-stack digital agency with a dedicated (and slightly geeky!) team of 20 in-house UX designers, creatives, developers, digital marketers, and strategists.
The name Element78 originates from the periodic table – where the chemical element with the symbol Pt and atomic number 78 equates to Platinum! But rather than being scientists in a lab, we build and design websites in our studio based in Bristol – in the Paintworks Creative Quarter – creating solutions with design, enabling with technology and encapsulating with service.
We’re very keen on building long term relationships with our clients, by understanding their organisation, people, systems and marketplace – so that we can actively work as their digital partners.
Umbraco truly is the friendly CMS
Umbraco has been a part of our business for 5 years now. We’re a Microsoft house so we were looking for something in .NET, and it had to be easy for the client to pick up and run with. The type of clients we work with require their platforms to be scalable and provide easy integration with other systems, and with Umbraco we saw that this was all possible.
And well, Umbraco truly is the friendly CMS, and not just for the client and content editors, but also for developers.
It’s incredibly flexible with endless ways to extend the system to fit any requirement, and we’ve found that Umbraco doesn’t get in the way of how we want to develop. It also has the support of some amazing developers creating packages and contributing to the source.
This friendliness and ease of use has just gotten better with time, and the feature set is always getting better and better as well. Umbraco 8 comes with multilingual and dependency injection out of the box, and has the room for even more great extensions with content apps - we’re excited to see what the community will come up with next!
