As a leading hydraulic components distributor, CICMP needed a scalable solution to support its expanding B2B customer base across multiple countries. The existing webshop lacked multilingual support, had no ERP integration, and couldn’t handle increasing order volumes efficiently. Without a modern system, CICMP struggled with slow order processing, inconsistent customer experiences, and a limited ability to scale — making it critical to modernize its digital infrastructure.

We developed a new multilingual webshop using Umbraco 10, tailored to CICMP’s B2B requirements. The solution was tightly integrated with Microsoft Business Central via REST APIs, enabling real-time access to product and order data. We also implemented a high-availability architecture, performance-optimized caching, and a robust permissions system for different customer types.

Key innovations included a custom hydraulic hose configurator and automated image management using Azure Blob Storage. Challenges such as complex ERP workflows were addressed through close collaboration and custom interface development.
