Why should I participate?
The Umbraco Awards are a great opportunity to shine the spotlight on some of the people using Umbraco in truly impressive ways - and maybe you’re one of these people!
Not only will you get to brag about your project and have it shower in eternal glory if you win - but you’ll also get a big stamp of approval showing both the community and your clients your capabilities of delivering award-winning solutions.
New format, same celebration 🎉
Since we can’t celebrate our annual Umbraco Award show at Codegarden, some things are going to be different this year. Here's an overview of what you can expect.
When and how
On the 27th of May, at 16:00 - 16:30 Copenhagen time (approximately), the show will be streamed as a live online event.
If you can’t make it at that time, we’ll make sure to record the whole award show, so you can watch it later (but we hope you’ll join the live celebration 😁).
As you might notice, we’ve made the show shorter to fit the online format. This also means that we’ve cut the categories down from 10 to 7. The categories available for submissions are:
- Umbraco Award for Best Cloud Solution
- Umbraco Award for Best Custom Solution
- Umbraco Award for Best Editing Experience
- Umbraco Award for Best Designed Site
- Umbraco Award for Best Gold Partner Solution
- Umbraco Award for Best Certified Partner Solution
- Umbraco Jury's Choice Award

The 2020 jury
This year, the jury consists of HQ members only.
We know that the current situation can be stressful and we are all trying to adjust in the best way possible. Going through the submissions and choosing the winner in each category is a huge and time-consuming task and not something we want to burden anyone with in current times. That's why we've decided to put together a jury consisting of Umbraco HQ members.

Remember, this situation is just as new for us as it is for you, which is why more information will follow, once we get the details in place for the actual live show.
We still hope to see you at the live show, which is why you should get your champagne (or other favourite drink) and confetti ready for the 27th of May, so that we together can celebrate and honour the amazing Umbraco projects made this year ✨
