AFME

Reinvesting in AFME's digital platform for membership growth and influence

AFME partnered with IDHL and Umbraco to modernise their digital platform and better reflect their authority within the financial markets sector. We migrated the website to Umbraco CMS, delivering improved navigation, search functionality and a streamlined content management experience. Supported by a comprehensive UX process and strong UI execution, the new platform positions AFME for continued membership growth and increased industry influence.

Background

AFME represents over 150 leading global banks and plays a critical role in shaping regulatory and capital market discussions across Europe. However, their existing platform did not reflect their authority or effectively support new member acquisition.

To strengthen their digital presence and better communicate their value, AFME required a modern, intuitive website aligned with their strategic objectives and industry standing.

Solution

We delivered a complete website overhaul, centred on improving user experience and creating a seamless, intuitive journey for members and stakeholders.

Umbraco build and data migration

We migrated AFME to Umbraco, enhancing navigation, site structure and search functionality. The new CMS provides a far more user-friendly experience for non-technical administrators, streamlining ongoing content management.

UX phase

Through competitor analysis, stakeholder interviews and tree testing, we conducted a comprehensive UX workshop to inform our site architecture and strategic recommendations.

UI build

A refined, professional UI was implemented to clearly convey AFME’s authority and value, ensuring the platform aligned with its reputation and audience expectations.
