We are theFactor.e.😄 We started our journey in 1995 and have since grown into a full-service digital agency with more than 70 dedicated employees. Our offices are located in Groningen and Amsterdam.
We specialize in creating and developing websites, platforms, apps, and other digital products for different kinds of sectors, such as finance, healthcare, government, and education. What differentiates us from other agencies is that our main focus lies in creating business value and co-creating with our clients, resulting in user-friendly digital solutions.
Where is your end-user located? Billy the lab will drive there🚚
We frequently do usability tests with the end-users of our clients to optimize their digital products. In fact, we do not design or create anything without involving actual customers, because they are the experts on how to use the digital product. All tests take place in “Billy”, our usability lab on four wheels.
Our clients are highly involved in every phase of strategy, design, development, and optimization. Umbraco allows us to effectively accommodate our clients’ wishes.

We have a long history with .NET development, so when we wanted to choose an open-source CMS, Umbraco was the obvious choice for us. Umbraco offers everything we were looking for while being a secure, well-supported platform. On top of that, Umbraco has a big and active community - also here in The Netherlands with the popular Dutch Umbraco User Group (DUUG).
Our developers love how scalable, secure and user-friendly Umbraco is. And of course that it is Microsoft .NET. The Umbraco CMS works great for editors and developers.
We’ve been working with Umbraco for some years now and have already accomplished a number of exciting projects with it, such as Academie Minerva, Elker and Noorderpoort.
