We are GORM. A digital agency specialized in development, UX, content and conversion. From our office on Nørrebro, the dynamic and lively neighbourhood in Copenhagen, we have the pleasure of working closely with a range of different brands, companies and institutions.
At GORM, we are specialized in mobile and web development. We transform business goals to code. And the other way around, of course!
When it comes to development, our ambition is to combine experience with the courage of finding new ways. We speak both “nerd” and “human” – because we understand the importance of building bridges between people and technology.
How we started out with Umbraco
We have been working with Umbraco for over 5 years alongside other platforms but have focused on Umbraco the last 3 years.
It was one of the first open source CMS on .NET, which provided a way to create dynamic websites that were built on a stable platform, within the world of Microsoft – an insurance for performance, security and scalability for the customer.
Why we and our clients love it
We also chose Umbraco because of its simplicity. It is easy to use, and this is a huge advantage for our clients, who want the work with their websites to be a trouble-free, smooth experience that allows them to focus on their business and not technology.
We are especially excited about the backend - it is really nice for us to present the backend to our clients, because it is so easy to understand and use. It is important for us that all our clients feel comfortable working with our solutions - even the less tech-savvy ones.
An important aspect is also the large, dedicated Umbraco community which provides both support and inspiration, as well as the overall feel and philosophy that the core team and Umbraco HQ bring; where it is as much about a friendly and creative approach as it is about the technical and commercial parts, both in the Umbraco product, community and the projects that are built on the platform.
And on a more technical note - one of the main reasons we chose to work with Umbraco is because of its flexibility and scalability. We’re also happy to see that the workflow and the whole setup on Umbraco Cloud and deployment has changed a lot over the past years - for the better.
Why we are a Gold Partner
We decided to become an Umbraco Gold Partner in early 2019 but this is something we discussed for a while in 2018 after we became a Certified Partner.
This is a strategic decision for us since our focus is Umbraco. Working closer with Umbraco HQ gives both us and our clients a number of advantages. But most importantly, we’re able to give our clients an even better support - which gives them more trust regarding their web solutions.
