In Umbraco Commerce, orders are categorized with color-coded order status labels, which can be searched for speedy management.

Our Discount Rules and Rewards builder ships with several common discounting options, such as product line discounts, bundle discounts, shipping discounts, discount codes, loyalty rewards, and Gift Cards. Currently, there are 3 items for Umbraco Commerce on the Umbraco Roadmap that will come to the product in the upcoming months:
- Commerce API - bringing headless capabilities to Umbraco Commerce opening up true omnichannel possibilities
- Shipping Providers - bringing real-time shipping estimates and shipment tracking to your stores
- Localization - providing multilingual backoffice support ensuring wherever your store owners are from the Umbraco Commerce UI is clear and familiar to everyone
As with all our add-on products, we'll be working on updating Umbraco Commerce for the new UI coming in Umbraco version 14 ensuring Umbraco Commerce is ready for the next era of Umbraco.

The artist formerly known as Vendr
Even though we’re celebrating a new product today, the product itself has actually been tried, tested, and used by many businesses for years as the popular Vendr ecommerce package created and maintained by me, Matt Brailsford.

With the acquisition of Outfield Digital and hereof Vendr, I’ve become part of Umbraco HQ as the Commerce Technical Team Lead and will continue to work on Umbraco Commerce together with the Umbraco HQ development team, making sure the solution is always maintained, supported, and compatible with the latest versions of the CMS.
Vendr will continue to exist for Umbraco versions 8, 9, and 10, but won’t see any new features, and will only receive updates for security issues or significant bugs.
All future efforts are focused on Umbraco Commerce, and given all the other benefits that come with the latest version of the CMS, we highly recommend upgrading.
Starting in August, we are contacting all current Vendr users to discuss options.
Getting started with Umbraco Commerce

As of today, Umbraco Commerce works with Umbraco 12 and all upcoming versions of the Umbraco CMS. We have also released it for Umbraco 10 so it aligns with a Long Term Supported (LTS) version of the CMS.
Umbraco Commerce is an add-on package for Umbraco CMS and Umbraco Cloud and is available at €199/ month. With a license, you can create any number of stores on any number of domains in one installation.

Installing Umbraco Commerce
As with all our add-on products, you can get it straight from the Umbraco Marketplace.
The process is the same for projects on Umbraco Cloud and on-premises installations. See the Installing Umbraco Commerce documentation for all the details and options available.
Migrating to Umbraco Commerce
For Umbraco 8, 9, and 10, Vendr, the predecessor to Umbraco Commerce, is still available.
It is easy to migrate from Vendr to Umbraco Commerce but be aware that if you have a licensed version of Vendr you will need to get a new license for Umbraco Commerce.
Starting in August, we are contacting all current Vendr users to discuss options. You are also welcome to reach out to us through the contact form on the Umbraco Commerce product page.
