We are a fast-growing Swedish company found in 2000 and situated in Stockholm. At the moment we are 40 employees who mainly work with web development.
Most of the work we do happens at the office, but we also travel a lot to clients when needed. After all, to help them overcome obstacles it’s always easier to meet in person.
The first time we worked on an Umbraco project was 6-7 years ago, but that was more of a one time thing. A lot of DevCore developers though have been doing Umbraco work on a side for friends and family.
However last year we felt that we want to offer something more to our clients. We want to be able to deliver really good websites based on .NET technology for our clients, and that includes Umbraco. We want to be skilled in Umbraco and offer our expertise.
We could also see that there is a big market for Umbraco opening up, which also influenced our decision to put more emphasis on our work with Umbraco.
For us Umbraco is very close to what we do right now. It’s the way of working that we’re used to. We like to make things simple to the users of a CMS, and Umbraco is really good at that.
We decided to become a Gold Partner in the end of last year. We thought that if we are starting to put more focus on work with Umbraco, we need to do this for real. That’s when we flew a trainer in and certified 15 people 😊
We thought that becoming a Gold Partner is the best step for us to show that we are qualified to do this kind of work, and also get the support needed.
Naturally, it takes a little while for us to establish the partnership and the mutual understanding off competencies between us and Umbraco. But it feels great to know that there is someone to talk to on the other side of the line. Which is not the way it is if you look at other open source based systems.
At the end of the day, we want to deliver a lot of great solutions on Umbraco and I’m sure we’ll be able to show that we’re worthy of being a Gold Partner. Last, but not least, we’re fun and social and we look very much forward to our future with Umbraco!
