We’ve embraced Umbraco as one of our two core CMS technologies (the other is Sitecore). The platform is ideal for many enterprise-level applications, and since we primarily work with Microsoft’s .NET Framework, it’s a natural fit for us and our clients.

Having worked with content management systems in many forms, we particularly appreciate Umbraco’s extensibility (including the content editor experience), active and expanding developer community, and ease of integration with other systems—all of which speed the pace of prototyping and development. Winner to be announced on 18 June 2025.

• This is the first time Umbraco was integrated with Preservica, the leading archives preservation system.
• The underlying Dynamics 365 implementation—also integrated with Umbraco—is a game changer for our client, saving them thousands of hours in staff time.
• The composable nature of Umbraco was fully leveraged for this website.

2023 Umbraco Awards - Best Custom Solution: Lazard

• The Lazard website is an Umbraco solution in a complex AWS hosting environment with a custom S3 Storage Provider for media.
• We created a package to extend Umbraco Deploy functionality to push content and media deletions between sites.
• Extended that package to help content managers use Umbraco Deploy to override content from an external database.

2022  Umbraco Awards - Best Designed Site:  National Police Funding Database

• The site features complex, variable data-driven dashboards presented in an engaging way while meeting WCAG AA accessibility standards.
• Seamless, fully responsive table experience using CSS Grid down to mobile with a single set of markup.
• Google Charts data is presented using data stored in Umbraco.
• Data-driven "Find a location" page with pure HTML/CSS A-Z map of the US states.
