What is Codegarden?
Codegarden is a one-of-a-kind experience. It’s the biggest Umbraco conference in the world, and also the only Umbraco conference that’s organized by Umbraco HQ (the company behind Umbraco CMS).
It’s the time of the year where hundreds of Umbracians would soon head to Odense, Denmark to celebrate the Umbraco community, network with like-minded people, and get inspired by numerous insightful talks.
Well, we might not be able to gather in person this year, but nothing is stopping us from bringing back a virtual Codegarden on June 9th - 11th 🤩
Going to Codegarden has never been easier
Codegarden 2021 is both virtual and completely free of charge! This means that you can join from the comfort of your own home (/office) without having to travel or buy a ticket 😉
The only thing you need to do is to register right here so that you can access the event, receive updates about the excellent speaker lineup and the great program that we’ve got in store for you 🙌 Codegarden has never been more accessible indeed!

Don't just take our word for it 🙌
Codegarden is an unmissable experience whether you've been there before or not. But don't just take our word for it.
Emma Burstow, a long-time .NET developer and dedicated community member who recently joined Umbraco HQ, has been to Codegarden multiple times before. And she can’t wait for this year’s virtual Codegarden.
So, what is Codegarden to Emma? And why is she so excited about this year?
Emma is also a proud Umbraco MVP 🙌
''Codegarden is a number of things for me. It's the coming together of like-minded people to share everything they have learned across the last 12 months but it's also a place to see the people behind the code they write. It's a chance to make new friends and catch up with old friends. For the first-timers, it's a springboard to becoming a part of the friendliest tech community you'll meet. And we can’t wait to meet you.
This last year has been all kinds of challenging and the Umbraco community has found new ways to stay together while we're apart. Our first virtual Codegarden will be a celebration of all we've achieved in the last year and we want everyone to be there. This is the first year you won't need to hop on a plane or a train to be with your people - it's free and it's open and accessible to all.''
Emmanuel Tissera, a valuable Umbraco MVP and active community member, lives in Australia, and he’s never got the chance to join Codegarden. But this year, he’ll be able to join our virtual conference without having to travel all the way to Denmark 📺
''I've never attended Codegarden but always wanted to. Peeps who attend our Melbourne and Sydney meetups as well as the Umbraco Down Under Festival talk very highly of Codegarden, the camaraderie and the inclusivity of first-timers. The connections made and the knowledge they bring back from this event is immeasurable. I want to be one of them.''
Emmanuel proudly holding his Umbraco MVP award!
See you in June? 😉
We sure hope so!
Because we can’t wait to give you the best virtual Umbraco experience ever 🎉 So get rolling and mark your calendars for June 9th - 11th 2021! #SeeYouAtCodegarden
