Background
Edmond de Rothschild is more than a bank. With a long history of providing investment services, the name is synonymous with the trusted management of wealth. That heritage came with a digital estate that no longer reflected the Group’s ambition.
The existing presence was fragmented across regions, slow to update, and constrained by an architecture that struggled to support local nuance at scale. The corporate site needed to reflect a much broader set of services, and the Asset Management business required a standalone home that could speak directly to its own audience. Editors needed real authority over their content. Compliance, languages and regional governance all needed to be respected without holding the business back.
The brief was clear: rebuild the foundation. Twenty-five websites, six languages, twelve regions, two business identities, one platform.
Solution
We designed and built a modular, future-proof platform on Umbraco CMS, hosted on Umbraco Cloud for performance and reliability. A flexible system of components and templates allows regional teams to adapt content for local audiences while maintaining brand consistency across every market.
The new design embodies Edmond de Rothschild’s “Rooted Luxury” identity, balancing heritage with a contemporary digital expression. The corporate site now reflects the full breadth of the Group’s services, while the standalone Asset Management website carries its own clear narrative and audience pathways.
Editorial control sits with the people who need it. Umbraco Workflow provides structured approval flows for editors operating across regulated markets, while Umbraco Engage adds integrated analytics and personalisation. Security is reinforced through Azure and Cloudflare, ensuring the estate meets the standards expected of a global financial institution.
The result is an estate of 25 connected sites that scales with the Group, supports regional autonomy, and gives editors the tools to move at the pace of their business.
Impact
The new platform transformed Edmond de Rothschild’s digital performance across audience growth, engagement and visibility. New users increased by +256%, engaged sessions grew by +70%, and traffic from search engines lifted by +87.5%, the result of stronger foundations, sharper user pathways and a multilingual SEO architecture built to perform across every market.
Recognition followed. The project was awarded Gold at the Vega Digital Awards in the Multilingual Site category, validating both the craft and the strategic ambition behind it.
Edmond de Rothschild now has what it needs: a multilingual platform that reflects one of finance’s most distinguished names, one that scales with the Group’s commercial priorities, and gives editors and audiences alike a more confident digital experience.
