Background
NATP faced several business and technical challenges that limited its ability to engage members and expand services.
Fragmented Digital Experiences
Members needed to navigate multiple disconnected platforms to access courses, manage credentials, purchase educational products, and maintain their membership profiles.
Difficulty Demonstrating Member Value
Educational resources, professional tools, and membership benefits were scattered across systems.
Technology Constraints
Legacy systems made it difficult to integrate new services or introduce new programs.
NATP needed a platform that could drive member retention and growth, showcase the value of membership, connect learning, commerce, and membership systems, and increase cross-channel engagement.
Solution
Diagram designed a composable digital architecture centered around Umbraco CMS and Umbraco Commerce.
Instead of attempting to replace every system with a single platform, Umbraco was positioned as the orchestration layer that connects specialized enterprise systems through APIs.
The platform integrates enterprise services including Azure B2C for authentication, NetForum ERP for membership data, HubSpot for marketing automation, Stripe for payments, Avalara for tax calculation, LMS platforms for course delivery, Sertifier for credentials, and Zoom for events.
Umbraco manages content, commerce workflows, and user experiences while orchestrating data flows between systems.
