It’s always rewarding to see how fast they move from first exposure to actually thinking in terms of content modelling, structure, and how Umbraco is used in real-world scenarios. There’s often a clear shift during the session where things “click”, which is a really nice moment every time. For me, the biggest value of the programme is the bridge it creates between education and industry. It gives students a strong, practical foundation before they meet Umbraco in a commercial context, and it helps raise the overall baseline of understanding in the community.
The Umbraco Education Programme is open to Umbraco Partners with at least one Umbraco Certified team member to deliver the course. These requirements ensure that students are taught by experienced Umbraco professionals who can confidently guide them through the course. We'll provide everything you need to deliver the course, including course material.

To give away the fundamental course for free to my students was really appreciated by them and I think, they will carry out the name Umbraco to their future employer. I am always excited to present the really clean and cool software architecture to my students and show the how a good CMS can be – at that point, most of them only know WordPress, and so, Umbraco is a real eye opener for them and it makes me proud to open their eyes.
Umbraco does. As long as you're willing to dedicate your time to teaching and sharing Umbraco knowledge, we'll give the students the Umbraco Professional Certification completely free of charge. This is a real investment in their future, and it costs them nothing.
