The Professional certification exam consists of 20 questions, and the Expert and Master certification exams consist of 60 questions. The questions are based on the knowledge taught in the courses required for each exam. For instance, the Professional exam will only contain questions based on the Umbraco Fundamentals course. All exams have a 60 minute timer and have 3 attempts. If you do not pass an exam after 3 tries, you must attend the course again or purchase access to the re-exam.
Your training certification is valid for 2 years.
Once your certification expires, you can purchase access to a recertification exam, instead of re-taking the course(s) again. If you fail the re-certification exam, you must attend a course to refresh your memory.
